There are 3 ways to lose points.

1. Go on red 1 time, that will lose you 3 points

2. Leaving the alliance or getting booted out will lose you all the points.

3. Being banned from the forum will lose you 2 points.

At the end of each month the top three players get points,
1st gets 10
2nd gets 5
3rd gets 3

Also the best attacker gets an extra 3 points.
